This month we are traveling to Port Townsend Farmers Market and surrounding area.

The farmers market goes from 9AM - 2PM. Plenty of time for those wishing to be at the Eastside PotLuck (Redmond PCC) at 6:30PM

News of great raw food gets around and we are into exploring the where and hows of it. We hear there is a talented raw food chef at this farmers market, Raine Sunshine (that name alone is worth the trip!)

Appetizer:Rainbow coconut wrappers stuffed with sesame cashew cream with a sweet chile lime dipping sauce

Salad:Local seasonal greens with edible flower potpourri

Entrée:Hijiki and kohlrabi with sweet tahini dressing, stuffed avocado shell, and shiitake ravioli with balsamic fig puree and ginger cream

I pre-screened this movie and found it to be an amazing testimony of transformation.
While it's easy to see the transformation of the physical body. This movie goes two steps beyond and into the transformation of mind and spirit.

The Juice Lady, Cherie Calbom, M.S., will be at West Seattle PCC July 17 from 3:00 to 5:30 pm. Sharing "Summer Flavors with Fresh Juice," she'll be serving up a fresh juice blend and a mostly raw foods cuisine including Zippy Gazpacho-style Summer Tomato Soup, a dehydrated Daikon-Broccoli Cracker, Cabbage Slaw with Carrots and a Beet Dressing along with a Cashew-Carrot Sauce with peas and asparagus (lightly cooked) and served with rice or pasta.
